PageHawk Quick View, by Epiphani Studios

Privacy policy

PageHawk Quick View is built to a simple standard: what you read is your business.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, and no account. It does not track the pages you visit, the links you right-click, or the documents you open. It sends nothing to PageHawk or to any third party.

How PDFs are opened

When you open a PDF with Quick View, the file is fetched directly into the reader tab on your own device and rendered there with an on-device PDF engine. The document is never uploaded to any server, ours or anyone else's. The reader works fully signed-out.

The only network request the extension ever makes is the request for the exact PDF you asked to open, made from your device to wherever that PDF already lives.

Permissions, and why

The Mac app option

If you choose “PageHawk app for Mac” in Settings, the extension hands the PDF's link to the PageHawk Mac app on your computer via a local pagehawk:// link. That handoff stays on your device.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data, because we do not collect any.
